Better than Sex- A Dessert Restaurant is seeking an energetic individual to join our kitchen team! Must be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Previous line or restaurant/baking experience preferred, but we will train the right person if they have a passion for desserts in a fast paced environment! *Requirements* * Be at least 21 years of age * Posses a strong work ethic and reliable transportation * Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines * Must demonstrate safe and sanitary working habits * Must have the ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions * Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask * Must communicate effectively * Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently & as a team *Responsibilities* * Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment.
* Maintain proper par levels and produce product to stay in line with business levels.
* Prior to each shift: prepare daily prep lists based on business levels, establish priority items for the day, and complete opening checklist.
* Maintain a clean and sanitary work station at all times.
* Learns and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
* Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.
* Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
* Safely handle glassware and other fragile tableware to prevent breakage/loss.
* Maintain a customer-focused attitude while performing job duties.
* Work in a team oriented environment and under demanding conditions.
* Perform scheduled daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties.
* Perform other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Manager-On-Duty.
*Qualifications* * Attention to detail in all aspects of plating * Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal * Time management skills and a positive attitude.
* Be able to communicate clearly and effectively.
* Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
* Availability to work nights, weekends and some holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $15.
